Size (CJK glyphs)

Brand sets the board type (MARD 52×52 / Perler 29×29). Size affects Chinese & complex glyphs — smaller saves beads, larger stays crisp. Latin letters use a fixed crisp pixel font.

The chart image carries the color codes and a per-color bead count. Place beads on the pegboard one color at a time, cover with ironing paper and iron on medium to set.

Make a bead name in three steps

1 · Type it

Enter a name, a nickname or a short word. Letters are laid out on a crisp 5×7 pixel grid — no photo, no matching, just clean beads. Add a ♥ or ★ for charms.

2 · Pick colors

Choose the letter color from real bead swatches. Add an outline so pale letters pop, or a fill-in color to make a solid name tag. Every color maps to a code you can buy.

3 · Save & iron

Save the chart with codes and counts, or print it split by pegboard. Then place bead by bead and iron to set. All free.

Letter & alphabet bead tips

Keep names short for charms

3–5 letters fit one pegboard and stay light on a keychain. Longer names span two boards — the print-by-board PDF keeps every board aligned.

Outline pale letters

White or pastel letters vanish on a light table. Add a one-bead dark outline (or a fill-in background) so the name reads from across the room.

Buy by code, not by screen

Screen color drifts by monitor and bead batch. The chart lists MARD or Perler codes — match those. For Hama/Artkal, run the code through the color converter.
